The governor ordered these people not to eat any of the holy food. They could not eat any of this food until there was a priest who could use the Urim and Thummim {\cf2\super [7]} to ask God what to do.

The ruler must give an ephah {\cf2\super [452]} of grain offering with the bull, and an ephah of grain offering with the ram. As for the grain offering with the lambs, the ruler can give as much as he wants. But he must give 1 hin {\cf2\super [453]} of olive oil for each ephah {\cf2\super [454]} of grain.

“If a person is too poor to pay the price, then bring that person to the priest. The priest will decide how much money the person can afford to pay.

If you want to give, then your gift will be accepted. Your gift will be judged by what you have, not by what you don’t have.

Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks for the Lord your God. Do this by bringing him some special gift you want to bring. Decide how much to give by thinking about how much the Lord your God has blessed you.

“Three times a year all your men must come to meet with the Lord your God at the special place he will choose. They must come for the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters. Every person that comes to meet with the Lord must bring a gift.

“Choose men to be judges and officers in every town that the Lord your God gives you. Every family group must do this. And these men must be fair in judging the people.
