Fathers, don’t frustrate your children. If you are too hard to please, they might want to quit trying.

The Lord is as kind to his followers\par as a father is to his children.\par

Why? Because the Lord corrects the people he loves. Yes, God is like a father \{that punishes\} the son he loves.

Fathers, don’t make your children angry. But raise your children with the training and teaching of the Lord.

You know that we treated each one of you like a father treats his own children.
