Brothers and sisters, never become tired of doing good.

At that time, Jerusalem will be told,\par “Be strong, don’t be afraid!\par

And you don’t like the food from that table. You smell the food and refuse to eat it. You say it is bad. \{But that is not true.\} Then you bring sick, crippled, and hurt animals to me. You try to give sick animals to me as sacrifices. But I will not accept those sick animals from you.

Then Jesus taught the followers that they should always pray and never lose hope. Jesus used this story to teach them:

Some people live for God’s glory, for honor, and for life that cannot be destroyed. Those people live for those things by always continuing to do good. God will give life forever to those people.

After everything has been put under Christ, then the Son (Christ) himself will be put under God. God is the One who put all things under Christ. Christ will be put under God, so that God will be the complete ruler over everything.

God, with his mercy, gave us this work to do. So we don’t give up.

“Those {Levite} officers must also say to the people, ‘Is there any man here that has lost his courage and is afraid? He should go back home. Then he will not cause the other soldiers to lose their courage too.’

Brothers and sisters, now I have some other things to tell you. We taught you how to live in a way that will please God. And you are living that way. Now we ask you and encourage you in the Lord Jesus to live that way more and more.

But don’t treat them like an enemy—counsel them like a brother.

Think about Jesus. He was patient while sinful men were doing bad things against him. Think about him, so that you also will be patient and not stop trying.

You are children of God, and he speaks words of comfort to you. You have forgotten those words:

You continue to try without quitting. You endured \{troubles\} for my name. And you have not become tired of doing this.
