2 Kings 20:3Easy To Read Version“Lord, remember that I have truly served you with all my heart. I have done the things that you say are good.” Then Hezekiah cried very hard. See the chapter |
But the Lord still remembers\par what happened a long time ago.\par He remembers Moses and his people.\par The Lord is the One who brought the people through the sea.\par The Lord used his shepherds (prophets)\par to lead his flock (people).\par But where is the Lord now—\par the One who put his Spirit in Moses?\par
If you do those things,\par then you will be able to use my name\par to make a promise:\par You will be able to say,\par ‘As the Lord lives.’\par And you will be able to use those words\par in a truthful, honest, and right way.\par If you do these things, then the nations\par will be blessed by the Lord.\par They will brag about the things\par that the Lord has done.”\par
This is what we are proud of, and I can say with all my heart that it is true: In all the things we have done in the world, we have done everything with an honest and pure heart from God. And this is even more true in the things we have done with you. We did this by God’s grace (kindness), not by the kind of wisdom the world has.
