Solomon did many great and wise things while he ruled. All of these things are written in the book The History of Solomon.

King Jeroboam did many other things. He fought wars and continued to rule the people. All the things he did are written in the book The History of the Kings of Israel.

The other things that Nadab did are written in the book The History of the Kings of Israel.

The Lord used every prophet and every seer [205] to warn Israel and Judah. The Lord said, “Turn away from the evil things you do! Obey my commands and laws. Follow all the Law that I gave to your ancestors. [206] I used my servants the prophets to give this law to you.”

They tell the prophets, “Don’t see dreams {\cf2\super [278]} about things we should do! Don’t tell us the truth! Say nice things to us and make us feel good! See only good things for us!

Amaziah also said to Amos, “You seer, {\cf2\super [92]} go down to Judah and eat there. {\cf2\super [93]} Do your preaching there.

The seers {\cf2\super [39]} are ashamed.\par The fortune tellers {\cf2\super [40]} are embarrassed.\par They won’t say anything\par because God will not speak to them!\par
