That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife. This way, two people become one.

So David and his two wives moved to Hebron. (His wives were Ahinoam from Jezreel and Abigail, the widow [7] of Nabal from Carmel.)

David had these sons that were born at Hebron. The first son was Ammon. Ammon’s mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel.
