The Lord made Solomon very great. All the people of Israel knew that the Lord was making Solomon great. The Lord gave Solomon the honor that a king should have. No king in Israel before Solomon had such honor.

Don’t be stubborn like your ancestors {\cf2\super [364]} were. But obey the Lord with a willing heart. Come to the Most Holy Place. {\cf2\super [365]} The Lord has made the Most Holy Place to be holy forever. Serve the Lord your God. Then the Lord’s fearful anger will turn away from you.

Soldiers around Babylon,\par shout the cry of victory!\par Babylon has surrendered!\par Her walls and towers\par have been pulled down!\par The Lord is giving those people\par the punishment they should have.\par You nations should give Babylon\par the punishment she deserves.\par Do to her what she has done\par to other nations.\par

But the king of Judah won’t escape. Why? Because he ignored his agreement. He broke his promise to Nebuchadnezzar.
