Amnon had a friend named Jonadab son of Shimeah. (Shimeah was David’s brother.) Jonadab was a very clever man.

This man challenged Israel and made fun of them. But Jonathan killed this man. (This was Jonathan, the son of David’s brother Shimei.)

So when that man made fun of Israel, Jonathan killed him. Jonathan was Shimea’s son. Shimea was David’s brother.
