Then the angel of the Lord spoke to Gad. He said, “Tell David to build an altar {\cf2\super [216]} to worship the Lord. David must build that altar near the threshing floor {\cf2\super [217]} of Araunah the Jebusite. {\cf2\super [218]} ”

Solomon built the temple on the place that David had made ready. This place was at the threshing floor {\cf2\super [23]} that had belonged to Araunah {\cf2\super [24]} the Jebusite.
