Thus saith the Lord of hosts: In those days, wherein ten men of all languages of the Gentiles shall take hold, and shall hold fast the shirt of one that is a Jew, saying: We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

And the Gentiles shall walk in thy light, and kings in the brightness of thy rising.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation which thou knewest not: and the nations that knew not thee shall run to thee, because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

The secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so, falling down on his face, he will adore God, affirming that God is among you indeed.

Thus saith the Lord: The labour of Egypt and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and of Sabaim men of stature shall come over to thee and shall be thine. For a man shall take hold or his brother, one of the house of his father, saying: Thou hast a garment: be thou our ruler: and let this ruin be under thy hand.

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight: for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

Behold, these ten times you confound me, and are not ashamed to oppress me.

But the spirit came upon Amasai the chief among thirty, and he said: We are thine, O David, and for thee, O son of Isai. Peace, Peace be to thee, and peace to thy helpers. For thy God helpeth thee. So David received them, and made them captains of the band.

For every knee shall be bowed to me: and every tongue shall swear.

And the children of them that afflict thee shall come bowing down to thee: and all that slandered thee shall worship the steps of thy feet and shall call thee the city of the Lord, the Sion of the Holy One of Israel.

Behold I will cut off all that have afflicted thee at that time: and I will save her that halteth, and will gather her that was cast out: and I will get them praise, and a name, in all the land where they had been put to confusion.

And he gathered together all Juda and Benjamin, and the strangers with them, of Ephraim, and Manasses, and Simeon: for many were come over to him out of Israel, seeing that the Lord his God was with him.
