And it shall come to pass, that as you were a curse among the Gentiles, O house of Juda, and house of Israel: so will I save you, and you shall be a blessing: fear not, let your hands be strengthened.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Let your hands be strengthened, you that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, in the day that the house of the Lord of hosts was founded, that the temple might be built.

At that time, when I will bring you: and at the time that I will gather you: for I will give you a name, and praise among all the people of the earth, when I shall have brought back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

Until I go into the sanctuary of God, and understand concerning their last ends.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened.

And thou shalt be a reproach and a scoff, an example and an astonishment amongst the nations that are round about thee, when I shall have executed judgments in thee in anger and in indignation and in wrathful rebukes.

And I will persecute them with the sword and with famine and with the pestilence: and I will give them up unto affliction to all the kingdoms of the earth: to be a curse and an astonishment and a hissing and a reproach to all the nations to which I have driven them out:

Set your hearts from this day, and henceforward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month: from the day that the foundations of the temple of the Lord were laid, and lay it up in your hearts.

And I will deliver them up to vexation and affliction, to all the kingdoms of the earth: to be a reproach and a byword and a proverb, and to be a curse in all places to which I have cast them out.

And I will multiply thy seed like the stars of heaven: and I will give to thy posterity all these countries. And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my indignation hath been kindled against the inhabitants of Jerusalem: so shall my indignation be kindled against you, when you shall enter into Egypt. And you shall be an execration and an astonishment and a curse and a reproach: and you shall see this place no more.

Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.

And he said to me: Son of man: All these bones are the house of Israel: they say: Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost, and we are cut off.

They shall be brought with gladness and rejoicing: they shall be brought into the temple of the king.

And thou shalt be lost, as a proverb and a byword to all people, among whom the Lord shall bring thee in.

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus: that we may receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.

Because I have bent Juda for me as a bow, I have filled Ephraim: and I will raise up thy sons, O Sion, above thy sons, O Greece, and I will make thee as the sword of the mighty.

And I said to the angel that spoke to me: What are these? And he said to me: These are the horns that have scattered Juda, and Israel, and Jerusalem.

Samech. Depart, you that are defiled, they cried out to them: Depart, get ye hence, touch not: for they quarrelled, and being removed, they said among the Gentiles: He will no more dwell among them.

So that the Lord could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you have committed. Therefore your land is become a desolation and an astonishment and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.

And I will take the remnant of Juda that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt and to dwell there: and they shall be all consumed in the land of Egypt. They shall fall by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be consumed from the least even to the greatest. By the sword, and by the famine shall they die: and they shall be for an execration and for a wonder and for a curse and for a reproach.

Hast thou not seen what this people hath spoken, saying: The two families which the Lord had chosen are cast off: and they have despised my people, so that it is no more a nation before them?

I will make this house like Silo: and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

To wit, Jerusalem and the cities of Juda and the kings thereof and the princes thereof: to make them a desolation and an astonishment and a hissing and a curse, as it is at this day.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as a dew from the Lord, and as drops upon the grass, which waiteth not for man, nor tarrieth for the children of men.

And I have profaned the holy princes: I have given Jacob to slaughter and Israel to reproach.

And I will make them a blessing round about my hill: and I will send down the rain in its season, there shall be showers of blessing.

Yet now take courage, O Zorobabel, saith the Lord, and take courage, O Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, and take courage, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord of hosts: and perform (for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts)

And I had no mercy: so turning again I have thought in these days to do good to the house of Juda, and Jerusalem: fear not.

And people shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more an anathema: but Jerusalem shall sit secure.

And to make thee higher than all nations which he hath created, to his own praise, and name, and glory. That thou mayst be a holy people of the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: Fear not: to Sion: Let not thy hands be weakened.
