And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Behold I will cut off all that have afflicted thee at that time: and I will save her that halteth, and will gather her that was cast out: and I will get them praise, and a name, in all the land where they had been put to confusion.

I will gather together all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Josaphat: and I will plead with them there for my people, and for my inheritance Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and have parted my land.

And he said: Attend ye, all Juda, and you that dwell in Jerusalem, and thou king Josaphat: Thus saith the Lord to you: Fear ye not, and be not dismayed at this multitude. For the battle is not yours, but God's.

And all their kings, and their lands he took and wasted at one onset: for the Lord the God of Israel fought for him.

And the Lord troubled them at the sight of Israel: and he slew them with a great slaughter in Gabaon, and pursued them by the way of the ascent to Beth-horon, and cut them off all the way to Azeca and Maceda.

There was not before nor after so long a day, the Lord obeying the voice of a man, and fighting for Israel.

And I looked and rose up. And I said to the chief men and the magistrates, and to the rest of the common people: Be not afraid of them. Remember the Lord who is great and terrible; and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, and your wives, and your houses.

And the multitude of all nations that have fought against Ariel shall be as the dream of a vision by night, and all that have fought, and besieged and prevailed against it.
