And when for many days we had sailed slowly, and were scarce come over against Gnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed near Crete by Salmone:

Which also they did, sending it to the ancients, by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Who is like to me? Let him call and declare: and let him set before me the order, since I appointed the ancient people. And the things to come, and that shall be hereafter, let them shew unto them.

One of them a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slothful bellies.

And that other stones be laid in the place of them that were taken away, and the house be plastered with other mortar.
