Wherefore as by one man sin entered into this world, and by sin death; and so death passed upon all men, in whom all have sinned.

For as by the disobedience of one man, many were made sinners; so also by the obedience of one, many shall be made just.

For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting, in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For all have sinned, and do need the glory of God.

Then when concupiscence hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. But sin, when it is completed, begetteth death.

But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat. For in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, thou shalt die the death.

Thou hast loved malice more than goodness: and iniquity rather than to speak righteousness.

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.

And the woman saw that the tree was good to eat, and fair to the eyes, and delightful to behold: and she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave to her husband who did eat.

That as sin hath reigned to death; so also grace might reign by justice unto life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body.

Behold, all souls are mine: as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, the same shall die.

Therefore, as by the offence of one, unto all men to condemnation; so also by the justice of one, unto all men to justification of life.

What fruit therefore had you then in those things, of which you are now ashamed? For the end of them is death.

Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law.

In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:
