And may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, which is of God, justice in faith:

For the law maketh men priests, who have infirmity: but the word of the oath, which was since the law, the Son who is perfected for evermore.

(For the law brought nothing to perfection,) but a bringing in of a better hope, by which we draw nigh to God.

I cast not away the grace of God. For if justice be by the law, then Christ died in vain.

Therefore is it of faith, that according to grace the promise might be firm to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

Do we, then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid: but we establish the law.

So shall my word be, which shall go forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it.

You are made void of Christ, you who are justified in the law: you are fallen from grace.

And I will defeat the counsel of Juda and of Jerusalem in this place: and I will destroy them with the sword in the sight of their enemies and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and I will give their carcasses to be meat for the fowls of the air and for the beasts of the earth.

But if the husband hearing it hold his peace, and defer the declaring his mind till another day: whatsoever she had vowed and promised, she shall fulfil: because immediately as he heard it, he held his peace.

If her husband hear, and hold his peace, and doth not disallow the promise, she shall accomplish whatsoever she had promised.
