But knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ; we also believe in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

In him every one that believeth, is justified.

For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.

For I, through the law, am dead to the law, that I may live to God: with Christ I am nailed to the cross.

For the law worketh wrath. For where there is no law, neither is there transgression.

Why so? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were of works. For they stumbled at the stumblingstone.

Now the law entered in, that sin might abound. And where sin abounded, grace did more abound.

For not through the law was the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world; but through the justice of faith.

My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.

You are made void of Christ, you who are justified in the law: you are fallen from grace.

For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.

Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.

For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Behold, among his saints none is unchangeable: and the heavens are not pure in his sight.

For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, seduced me, and by it killed me.

Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law.

(For the law brought nothing to perfection,) but a bringing in of a better hope, by which we draw nigh to God.
