Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Wherefore he that thinketh himself to stand, let him take heed lest he fall.

And if you invoke as Father him who, without respect of persons, judgeth according to every one's work: converse in fear during the time of your sojourning here.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.

Take heed, brethren, lest perhaps there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, to depart from the living God.

Whom resist ye, strong in faith: knowing that the same affliction befalls your brethren who are in the world.

But he giveth greater grace. Wherefore he saith: God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble.

Let us hasten therefore to enter into that rest; lest any man fall into the same example of unbelief.

Seeing then it remaineth that some are to enter into it, and they, to whom it was first preached, did not enter because of unbelief:

And we see that they could not enter in, because of unbelief.

Who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God.

For what if some of them have not believed? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid.

But they gainsaying and blaspheming, he shook his garments, and said to them: Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather that the other: because every one that exalteth himself, shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself, shall be exalted.

In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proud boasters, and thou shalt no more be lifted up because of my holy mountain.

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria the son of Romelia. If you will not believe, you shall not continue.

And the loftiness of men shall be bowed down: and the haughtiness of men shall be humbled. And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

The lofty eyes of man are humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be made to stoop: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

He that trusteth in his own heart, is a fool: but he that walketh wisely, he shall be saved.

Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.

And they rose early in the morning, and went out through the desert of Thecua. And as they were marching Josaphat standing in the midst of them said: Hear me, ye men of Juda, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be secure. Believe his prophets, and all things shall succeed well.

Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, do manfully, and be strengthened.

For if God hath not spared the natural branches, fear lest perhaps he also spare not thee.

For I say, by the grace that is given me, to all that are among you, not to be more wise than it behoveth to be wise, but to be wise unto sobriety, and according as God hath divided to every one the measure of faith.

NOW I make known unto you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;
