The prayer of the poor man, when he was anxious, and poured out his supplication before the Lord.

Heth. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance.

Commit thy way to the Lord, and trust in him, and he will do it.

Unto the hope of life everlasting, which God, who lieth not, hath promised before the times of the world:

Give glory to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.

And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

Thou wilt perform the truth of Jacob, the mercy to Abraham: which thou hast sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

O Lord, thou art my God. I will exalt thee, and give glory to thy name: for thou hast done wonderful things, thy designs of old, faithful. Amen.

Thou hast humbled the proud one, as one that is slain: with the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thy enemies.

And the sons also of Zara: Zamri, and Ethan, and Eman, and Chalchal, and Dara, five in all.

And he was wiser than all men: wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Dorda the sons of Mahol. And he was renowned in all nations round about.
