But God is our king before ages: he hath wrought salvation in the midst of the earth.

Their houses are secure and peaceable: and the rod of God is not upon them.

Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance.

But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are made partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.

But whilst we are judged, we are chastised by the Lord, that we be not condemned with this world.

As for me, when I remember, I am afraid: and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.

Because the wicked man is reserved to the day of destruction: and he shall be brought to the day of wrath.
