And when the ark was lifted up, Moses said: Arise, O Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee flee from before thy face.

the days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected.

At the voice of the angel the people fled: and at the lifting up thyself the nations are scattered.

Now, therefore, arise, O Lord God, into thy resting-place, thou and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, put on salvation, and thy saints rejoice in good things.

But I am poor and sorrowful: thy salvation, O God, hath set me up.

But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O Lord; for the time of thy good pleasure, O God. In the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn: they have spoken with the lips, and wagged the head.

And repaying forthwith them that hate him, so as to destroy them, without further delay immediately rendering to them what they deserve.

Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them. I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:

A third part thou shalt burn with fire in the midst of the city, according to the fulfilling of the days of the siege: and thou shalt take a third part, and cut it in pieces with the knife all round about: and the other third part thou shalt scatter in the wind, and I will draw out the sword after them.
