For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.
Who is a God like to thee, who takest away iniquity, and passest by the sin of the remnant of thy inheritance? he will send his fury in no more, because he delighteth in mercy.
Therefore will I judge every man according to his ways, O house of Israel, saith the Lord God. Be converted, and do penance for all your iniquities: and iniquity shall not be your ruin.
If thou say: I have not strength enough: he that seeth into the heart, he understandeth, and nothing deceiveth the keeper of thy soul, end he shall render to a man according to his works.
And if you invoke as Father him who, without respect of persons, judgeth according to every one's work: converse in fear during the time of your sojourning here.
The king shall mourn and the prince shall be clothed with sorrow and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do to them according to their way and will judge them according to their judgments: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Great in counsel and incomprehensible in thought: whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the children of Adam to render unto every one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his devices.
Thine are riches, and thine is glory: thou hast dominion over all. In thy hand is power and might: in thy hand greatness, and the empire of all things.
