The wicked man fleeth, when no man pursueth: but the just, bold as a lion, shall be without dread.

And as to them that shall remain of you I will send fear in their hearts in the countries of their enemies. The sound of a flying leaf shall terrify them: and they shall flee as it were from the sword. They shall fall, when no man pursueth them.

I will set my face against you, and you shall fall down before your enemies: and shall be made subject to them that hate you. You shall flee when no man pursueth you.

And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before your idols: and I will scatter your bones round about your altars,

He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh at them: and the Lord shall deride them.

Vau. And he hath destroyed his tent as a garden, he hath thrown down his tabernacle. The Lord hath caused feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Sion and hath delivered up king and priest to reproach and to the indignation of his wrath.

The sound of dread is always in his ears: and when there is peace he always suspecteth treason.

For, behold, I have made thee a little one among the nations, despicable among men.
