Unto the end, for the servant of God, David himself.

The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?

and a congregation of people shall surround thee. And for their sakes, return thou on high.

After whom dost thou pursue? After a dead dog? After a flea?

He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor.

Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes.

I will bear the wrath of the Lord, because I have sinned against him; until he judge my cause and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth into the light, I shall behold his justice.

Who, when he was reviled, did not revile: when he suffered, he threatened not: but delivered himself to him that judged him unjustly.

For I am not conscious to myself of any thing, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judgeth me, is the Lord.

For their near kinsman is strong: and he will judge their cause against thee.

Because the Lord will judge his cause, and will afflict them that have afflicted his soul.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they have all slumbered that mounted on horseback.

And Absalom said to Achitophel: Consult what we are to do.

And it was told David that Achitophel also was in the conspiracy with Absalom, and David said: Infatuate, O Lord, I beseech thee, the counsel of Achitophel.

And the battle there was scattered over the face of all the country: and there were many more of the people whom the forest consumed, than whom the sword devoured that day.

Rise up, O Lord, in thy anger: and be thou exalted in the borders of my enemies. And arise, O Lord my God, in the precept which thou hast commanded:

The Lord judgeth the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice, and according to my innocence in me.

be attentive to me and hear me. I am grieved in my exercise; and am troubled,

The just shall correct me in mercy, and shall reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner fatten my head. For my prayer also shall still be against the things with which they are well pleased:
