Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears unto their prayers: but the countenance of the Lord upon them that do evil things.

He will not take away his eyes from the just; and he placeth kings on the throne for ever: and they are exalted.

That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have the strongest comfort, who have fled for refuge to hold fast the hope set before us.

They have not called upon the Lord; there have they trembled for fear where there was no fear.
