Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.

I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.

Because I was silent my bones grew old; whilst I cried out all the day long.

I am, I am he that blot out thy iniquities for my own sake: and I will not remember thy sins.

But not as the offence, so also the gift. For if by the offence of one, many died; much more the grace of God, and the gift, by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Therefore thou shalt say to the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord God: It is not for your sake that I will do this, O house of Israel, but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations whither you went.

But I did otherwise for my name's sake, that it might not be violated before the nations, in the midst of whom they were, and among whom I made myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

For my name's sake I will remove my wrath far off: and for my praise I will bridle thee, lest thou shouldst perish.

Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity:

Who keepest mercy unto thousands: who takest away iniquity, and wickedness, and sin, and no man of himself is innocent before thee. Who renderest the iniquity of the fathers to the children, and to the grandchildren, unto the third and fourth generation.

If our iniquities have testified against us, O Lord, do thou it for thy name's sake, for our rebellions are many: we have sinned against thee.
