There is no other God like the God of the rightest: he that is mounted upon the heaven is thy helper. By his magnificence the clouds run hither and thither.

He bowed the heavens, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

Lift up your eyes to heaven, and look down to the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish like smoke, and the earth shall be worn away like a garment, and the inhabitants thereof shall perish in like manner. But my salvation shall be for ever: and my justice shall not fail.

I have laboured with crying; my jaws are become hoarse: my eyes have failed, whilst I hope in my God.

And all mount Sinai was on a smoke: because the Lord was come down upon it in fire, and the smoke arose from it as out of a furnace. And all the mount was terrible.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy. And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my iniquity.

He hath remembered his mercy his truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind: to render his wrath in indignation and his rebuke with flames of fire.
