That being delivered from the hand of our enemies, we may serve him without fear,

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written: Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death: bound in want and in iron.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.

I have acknowledged my sin to thee, and my injustice I have not concealed. I said I will confess against myself my injustice to the Lord: and thou hast forgiven the wickedness of my sin.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; because he hath visited and wrought the redemption of his people:

But because the Lord hath loved you, and hath kept his oath, which he swore to your fathers: and hath brought you out with a strong hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, out of the hand of Pharao the king of Egypt.

For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob and delivered him out of the hand of one that was mightier than he.

Remember that thou also wast a bondservant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord thy God made thee free, and therefore I now command thee this.

Let fear and dread fall upon them, in the greatness of thy arm; let them become unmoveable as a stone, until thy people, O Lord, pass by: until this thy people pass by, which thou hast possessed.

But we hoped, that it was he that should have redeemed Israel: and now besides all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.

For the day of vengeance is in my heart: the year of my redemption is come.

Be in pain and labour, O daughter of Sion, as a woman that bringeth forth: for now shalt thou go out of the city, and shalt dwell in the country, and shalt come even to Babylon, there thou shalt be delivered: there the Lord will redeem thee out of the hand of thy enemies.
