He that teacheth a scorner, doth an injury to himself: and he that rebuketh a wicked man, getteth himself a blot.
A corrupt man loveth not one that reproveth him: nor will he go to the wise.
Speak not in the ears of fools: because they will despise the instruction of thy speech.

A wise son heareth the doctrine of his father: but he that is a scorner, beareth not when he is reproved.
And they held their peace, and answered him not a word. For the king had commanded, saying: answer him not.
