Jesus answered, and said to them: Although I give testimony of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but you know not whence I come, or whither I go.


Sanctify them in truth. Thy word is truth.


Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord: but they that deal faithfully please him.


And to the angel of the church of Laodicea, write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the beginning of the creation of God:

For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.
