Blessed is the man that findeth wisdom and is rich in prudence:
He that hath a mind to depart from a friend seeketh occasions: he shall ever be subject to reproach.
If thou shalt seek her as money, and shalt dig for her as for a treasure:
The finest gold shall not purchase it: neither shall silver be weighed in exchange for it
They are right to them that understand, and just to them that find knowledge.
Nor is it beyond the sea: that thou mayst excuse thyself, and say: Which of us can cross the sea, and bring it unto us: that we may hear, and do that which is commanded?
High and eminent things shall not be mentioned in comparison of it: but wisdom is drawn out of secret places.
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not be equal to it: neither shall it be compared to the cleanest dyeing.
Get wisdom, because it is better than gold: and purchase prudence, for it is more precious than silver.
