In the joy of the just there is great glory: when the wicked reign, men are ruined.

When it goeth well with the just the city shall rejoice: and when the wicked perish there shall be praise.

When the wicked rise up, men shall hide themselves: when they perish, the lust shall be multiplied.

There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, as it were by an error proceeding from the face of the prince:

And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet: and there were great voices in heaven, saying: The kingdom of this world is become our Lord's and his Christ's, and he shall reign for ever and ever. Amen.

A fool set in high dignity, and the rich sitting beneath.

I turned myself to other things, and I saw the oppressions that are done under the sun, and the tears of the innocent, and they had no comforter; and they were not able to resist their violence, being destitute of help from any.
