The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit, than seven men that speak sentences.
Hast thou seen a man wise in his own conceit? there shall be more hope of a fool than of him.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that is wise hearkeneth unto counsels.
But sanctify the Lord Christ in your hearts, being ready always to satisfy every one that asketh you a reason of that hope which is in you.
Go to the ant, O sluggard, and consider her ways, and learn wisdom:
Study wisdom, my son, and make my heart joyful, that thou mayst give an answer to him that reproacheth.
