A wise son maketh a father joyful: but the foolish man despiseth his mother.

A man that loveth wisdom, rejoiceth his father: but he that maintaineth bar lots, shall squander away his substance.

For charity sake I rather beseech, whereas thou art such a one, as Paul an old man, and now a prisoner also of Jesus Christ.

And he said: Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who hath given this day one to sit on my throne, my eyes seeing it.

Study wisdom, my son, and make my heart joyful, that thou mayst give an answer to him that reproacheth.
