And you, fathers, provoke not your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and correction of the Lord.

And thou shalt tell them to thy children: and thou shalt meditate upon them sitting in thy house, and walking on thy journey, sleeping and rising.

And because from thy infancy thou hast known the holy scriptures, which can instruct thee to salvation, by the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

For I know that he will command his children, and his household after him, to keep the way of the Lord, and do judgment and justice: that for Abraham's sake the Lord may bring to effect all the things he hath spoken unto him.

And Manue said to him: When thy word shall come to pass, what wilt thou that the child should do? Or from what shall he keep himself?
