Meddle not with him that revealeth secrets, and walketh deceitfully, and openeth wide his lips.

He that walketh deceitfully, revealeth secrets: but he that is faithful, concealeth the thing committed to him by his friend.

For they that are such, serve not Christ our Lord, but their own belly; and by pleasing speeches and good words, seduce the hearts of the innocent.

The words of the double tongued are as if they were harmless: and they reach even to the inner parts of the bowels. Fear casteth down the slothful: and the souls of the effeminate shall be hungry.
