A fool receiveth not the words of prudence: unless thou say those things which are in his heart.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
A cautious man concealeth knowledge: and the heart of fools publisheth folly.
What doth it avail a fool to have riches, seeing he cannot buy wisdom? He that maketh his house high, seeketh a downfall: and he that refuseth to learn, shall fall into evils.
The prudent man doth all things with counsel: but he that is a fool, layeth open his folly.
NOW concerning those things that are sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up; but charity edifieth.
Yea, and the fool when he walketh in the way, whereas be himself is a fool, esteemeth all men fools.
Some indeed, even out of envy and contention; but some also for good will preach Christ.
So you also, forasmuch as you are zealous of spirits, seek to abound unto the edifying of the church.
