What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?

And whatsoever we shall ask, we shall receive of him: because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight.

That you may walk worthy of God, in all things pleasing; being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God:

And the fear of the Lord came upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Juda: and they durst not make war against Josaphat.

Fit you in all goodness, that you may do his will; doing in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The Lord saith to me: Assuredly it shall be well with thy remnant, assuredly I shall help thee in the time of affliction and in the time of tribulation, against the enemy.

Then Esau ran to meet his brother, and embraced him: and clasping him fast about the neck, and kissing him, wept.

Esau therefore always hated Jacob for the blessing wherewith his father had blessed him: and he said in his heart: The days will come of the mourning of my father, and I will kill my brother Jacob.

And who is he that can hurt you, if you be zealous of good?

And I will give favour to this people, in the sight of the Egyptians: and when you go forth, you shall not depart empty.

Her ways are beautiful ways, and all her paths are peaceable.

Better is a little with justice, than great revenues with iniquity.

Take him and set thy eyes upon him and do him no harm: but as he hath a mind, so do with him.

And I will shew mercies to you and will take pity on you and will cause you to dwell in your own land.

And the kingdom of Josaphat was quiet, and God gave him peace round about.

And they gave the king's edicts to the lords that were from the king's court, and the governors beyond the river. And they furthered the people and the house of God.
