The Lord is far from the wicked: and he will hear the prayers of the just.

Now we know that God doth not hear sinners: but if a man be a server of God, and doth his will, him he heareth.

The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.

Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears unto their prayers: but the countenance of the Lord upon them that do evil things.

Thy knowledge is become wonderful to me: it is high, and I cannot reach to it.

And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.

Unto the end: a psalm for David.

God therefore will not hear in vain: and the Almighty will look into the causes of every one.

Then shall they call upon me, and I will not hear: they shall rise in the morning and shall not find me:

The light of the eyes rejoiceth the soul: a good name maketh the bones fat.

But your iniquities have divided between you and your God: and your sins have hid his face from you that he should not hear.
