For perhaps he therefore departed for a season from thee, that thou mightest receive him again for ever:
You thought evil against me: but God turned it into good, that he might exalt me, as at present you see, and might save many people.
And the inhabitants of this isle shall say in that day: Lo, this was our hope, to whom we fled for help, to deliver up from the face of the king of the Assyrians. And how shall we be able to escape?
To do what thy hand and thy counsel decreed to be done.
Or will God forget to shew mercy? or will he in his anger shut up his mercies?
