Numbers 6:3

They shall abstain from wine, and from every thing that may make a man drunk. They shall not drink vinegar of wine, or of any other drink: nor any thing that is pressed out of the grape. Nor shall they eat grapes either fresh or dried.

And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly.

And divers washings, and justices of the flesh laid on them until the time of correction.

All the days that they are consecrated to the Lord by vow, they shall eat nothing that cometh of the vineyard, from the raisin even to the kernel.

Now therefore beware and drink no wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing,

And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not so, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord?
