These curses shall light upon thee. The Lord make thee a curse, and an example for all among his people. May he make thy thigh to rot: and may thy belly swell and burst asunder.

All that could understand promising for their brethren, with their chief men. And they came to promise and swear that they would walk in the law of God, which he gave in the hand of Moses the servant of God: that they would do and keep all the commandments of the Lord our God, and his judgments and his ceremonies.

And the men of Israel were joined together that day; and Saul adjured the people, saying: Cursed be the man that shall eat food till evening, till I be revenged of my enemies. So none of the people tasted any food.

And you shall leave your name for an execration to my elect. And the Lord God shall slay thee and call his servants by another name.

The memory of the just is with praises: and the name of the wicked shall rot.

And thou shalt be sick of a very grievous disease of thy bowels, till thy vital parts come out by little and little every day.

And when she hath drunk them, if she be defiled, and having despised her husband be guilty of adultery, the malediction shall go through her: and her belly swelling, her thigh shall rot. And the woman shall be a curse, and an example to all the people.
