And the Lord said to Moses: Write this for a memorial in a book, and deliver it to the ears of Josue; for I will destroy the memory of Amalec from under heaven.

And they slew the remnant of the Amalecites, who had been able to escape; and they dwelt there in their stead unto this day.

And David slew them from the evening unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, but four hundred young men, who had gotten upon camels, and fled.

And Amalec came, and fought against Israel in Raphidim.

And Thamna was the concubine of Eliphaz the son of Esau: and she bore him Amalech. These are the sons of Ada the wife of Esau.

Water shall flow out of his bucket: and his seed shall be in many waters. For Agag his king shall be removed: and his kingdom shall be taken away.

Out of Jacob shall he come that shall rule, and shall destroy the remains of the city.

They shall come in galleys from Italy: they shall overcome the Assyrians, and shall waste the Hebrews: and at the last they themselves also shall perish.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I have reckoned up all that Amalec hath done to Israel. How he opposed them in the way when they came up out of Egypt.
