And you shall not sin in this point, by reserving the choicest and fat things to yourselves: lest you profane the oblations of the children of Israel, and die.
Speak to Aaron and to his sons, that they beware of those things that are consecrated of the children of Israel: and defile not the name of the things sanctified to me which they offer. I am the Lord.
To you, O priests, that despise my name, and have said: Wherein have we despised thy name? You offer polluted bread upon my altar, and you say: Wherein have we polluted thee? In that you say: The table of the Lord is contemptible.
And you shall eat them in all your places, both you and your families: because it is your reward for the ministry, wherewith you serve in the tabernacle of the testimony.
And Aaron and his sons shall use them when they shall go in to the tabernacle of the testimony, or when they approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary: lest being guilty of iniquity they die. It shall be a law for ever to Aaron, and to his seed after him.
