And Esdras blessed the Lord the great God. And all the people answered: Amen, Amen; lifting up their hands: and they bowed down, and adored God with their faces to the ground.

I will therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up pure hands, without anger and contention.

Nun. Let us lift up our hearts with our hands to the Lord in the heavens.

Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel from eternity to eternity. And let all the people say, Amen, and a hymn to God.

Now Josue, and Bani, and Serebia, Jamin, Accub, Sephtai, Odia, Maasia, Celtia, Azarias, Jozabed, Hanan, Phalaia, the Levites, made silence among the people to hear the law: and the people stood in their place.

And he blessed the Lord before all the multitude; and he said: Blessed art thou, O Lord, the God of Israel, our father from eternity to eternity.

Now therefore I have a mind that we make a covenant with the Lord the God of Israel: and he will turn away the wrath of his indignation from us.

Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people.
