Thou hast understood my thoughts afar off: my path and my line thou hast searched out.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.

I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.

Do you therefore take courage, and let not your hands he weakened: for there shall be a reward for your work.

I will cry to God the most High; to God who hath done good to me.

Remember me, O Lord, for Tobias and Sanaballat, according to their works of this kind: and Noadias the prophet, and the rest of the prophets that would have put me in fear.

Let the heavens and the earth praise him; the sea, and every thing that creepeth therein.

Moreover he cried out with a loud voice, in the Jews' tongue, to the people that sat on the walls of Jerusalem, that he might frighten them, and take the city.

I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name, saith the Lord.

And all they that were round about helped their hands with vessels of silver, and gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with furniture, besides what they had offered on their own accord.

And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and will put my sword in his hand: and I will break the arms of Pharao, and they shall groan bitterly being slain before his face.

It is he that giveth strength to the weary, and increaseth force and might to them that are not.
