And I said to the king: If it seem good to the king, and if thy servant hath found favour in thy sight: that thou wouldst send me into Judea to the city of the sepulchre of my father, and I will build it.

Now therefore if it seem good to the king, let him search in the king's library, which is in Babylon, whether it hath been decreed by Cyrus the king, that the house of God in Jerusalem should be built: and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.

And thou shalt find grace and good understanding before God and men.

And Joab falling down to the ground upon his face. Adored, and blessed the king. And Joab said: This day thy servant hath understood that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king; for thou hast fulfilled the request of thy servant.

And she said: I have found grace in thy eyes, my lord, who hast comforted me and hast spoken to the heart of thy handmaid, who am not like to one of thy maids.

Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones, and of all filthiness.

Then the king said to me: For what dost thou make request? And I prayed to the God of heaven.

And the king said to me, and the queen that sat by him: For how long shall thy journey be, and when wilt thou return? And it pleased the king; and he sent me. And I fixed him a time.
