And when it was evening, there came a certain rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus.
There was a man of Ramathaimsophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elcana, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliu, the son of Thohu, the son of Suph, an Ephraimite.
And he returned to Ramatha; for there was his house, and there he judged Israel. He built also there an altar to the Lord.
And he shall give the ungodly for his burial and the rich for his death: because he hath done no iniquity, neither was there deceit in his mouth.
He went to Pilate, and asked the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded that the body should be delivered.
And when they had fulfilled all things that were written of him, taking him down from the tree, they laid him in a sepulchre.
Which his disciples hearing came, and took his body, and laid it in a tomb.
