He was offered because it was his own will, and he opened not his mouth. He shall be led as a sheep to the slaughter, and shall be dumb as a lamb before his shearer, and he shall not open his mouth.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate.

And they stoned Stephen, invoking, and saying: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

And taking him, they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him.

Then therefore he delivered him to them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him forth.

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to be mocked, and scourged, and crucified, and the third day he shall rise again.

And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die. Let all the multitude stone him without the camp.

You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified:

And after they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own garments on him, and they led him out to crucify him.
