For God is not unjust, that he should forget your work, and the love which you have shewn in his name, you who have ministered, and do minister to the saints.

The mystery which hath been hidden from ages and generations, but now is manifested to his saints,

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free.

Now to him that is able to establish you, according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret from eternity,

Saying: What shall we do to these men? for indeed a known miracle hath been done by them, to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem: it is manifest, and we cannot deny it.

I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Whatsoever thy hand is able to do, do it earnestly: for neither work, nor reason, nor wisdom, nor knowledge shall be in hell, whither thou art hastening.

THE kingdom of heaven is like to an householder, who went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

But about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing, and he saith to them: Why stand you here all the day idle?

And when evening was come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his steward: Call the labourers and pay them their hire, beginning from the last even to the first.
