Who in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offering up prayers and supplications to him that was able to save him from death, was heard for his reverence.

And they that went before, rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried out much more: Son of David, have mercy on me.

While he was yet speaking, some come from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying: Thy daughter is dead: why dost thou trouble the master any further?

And the multitude rebuked them that they should hold their peace. But they cried out the more, saying: O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us.

And as Jesus passed from thence, there followed him two blind men crying out and saying, Have mercy on us, O Son of David.

And they brought to him young children, that he might touch them. And the disciples rebuked them that brought them.
